On a sunny and beautiful day, May 18th, 2024, the Kiwanis Club of The Verdugos hosted a lively BBQ fundraiser at the American Legion Post 127 in Glendale, California. The event brought together community members, local leaders, and first responders for a fantastic time filled with delicious food, camaraderie, and support for Veterans.

Members of the State Assembly and Senate graced the event, engaging in conversations with constituents and fellow community members. The Glendale Fire Department was well-represented, with firefighters and their captain joining the festivities. Families, friends, and neighbors mingled, sharing stories and laughter. The event exemplified the Club’s commitment to creating a close-knit community where everyone belongs.

Proceeds from the fundraiser directly benefited the American Legion Post 127, supporting veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families.
